Teaching About Climate Change-PDP Course Offered

What are simple hands-on ways to teach this complex topic?
This course will introduce you to the principles of climate
science and will suggest methods and resources that will help
our students understand the complex process of climate

Grants for High School Teachers for the Environment

To help provide teachers around the country with support
for their innovative work to bring environmental education into the
classroom, the National Environmental Education Foundation is
launching the Classroom Earth National High School Challenge - an
opportunity for up to 25 teachers to secure as much as $5,000 to
$10,000 in funding to bring innovative environmental themes into
their coursework.

AltWheels Festival

What: Interested in getting current on the future of getting
around? Visit the largest alternative transportation
and energy festival on the East coast. In anticipation
of the AltWheels Festival, which will be held on
Boston City Hall Plaza, the Museum of Science in
Boston is hosting weekend programs in the Gordon

Conference Themes Wanted

What:
The Program Committee of the 18th Massachusetts Land Conservation Conference requests your input as they plan this annual spring event (March 29, 2008, in Worcester, MA). What should the theme of this year’s conference be? The Program Committee will read all the submissions  and will choose one* to be this year’s theme.  The submitter of the winning theme will receive a free conference registration, a free lunch, priority parking at the conference, and express service at registration and lunch.
